  • From the Vienna Porcelain Manufactory Augarten for those who love these noble and largest falcons. The white Gyrfalcon (Falco rusticolus) were regarded as especially noble and valuable and are used for hunting and as precious gifts by Arab rulers. This exquisite life-size model was designed in fall 2012 by Matthias Claudius Aigner in three porcelain varieties : in Biscuit, glazed and one handpainted version. Porcelain, with its sensitive surface is the ideal material to capture the noble look, guise and grace of this noble bird. The hand painted version features authentic plume drawings and the raptor’s fiery, glistening eyes.
