“A good Interior Design, is like a work of art. You start with a blank canvas and you look for clues that
guide the design. I call those clues ‘drivers’. These drivers set the brief and I always consider those
when I commence any project. These include questions such as: Who will be using the space? Where
is the natural light? What does the feeling of the space need to be? Does it need to create an impact
or be simple and elegant? I am an artist as well as Interior Architect and I have been painting for many
years so I understand the balance of colour and the approach to creating art. To create a good interior
design scheme the most important thing is quality. There is a subtle different between things that look
unsophisticated to things that have class, elegance and style. I am very fortunate to have had a privileged
life and I try to share my good fortune with others. I like to help people make their businesses
strong, homes loved, and thus their lives happier. For me, I do this with design. Interior Design.”
