What started as a passion in art on her early years later became a
drive to create beautiful spaces. With this urge to create, Jamea
eventually found her niche in design. She has been included among
the top-10 finalists for the 2010 Estilo De Vida, an Inter-School
Interior Design Competition organized by the Philippine Constructors
Association, Inc. (PCA). In 2012, she received her Bachelor’s Degree
and graduated with honours. She then obtained her professional
license in October.
Prior to joining HBA, Jamea worked as a Junior Interior Designer for
Arlen P. De Guzman, a top-ranking hospitality designer in the
Philippines. She worked on a variety of projects, with responsibilities
including FF&E selection, specifications, presentation materials and
color coordination, among others. Now that she has joined the firm,
she hopes to expand her knowledge of the hospitality industry. She
also hopes to continue exploring and learning new techniques in the
area of interior design to allow her to build a stronger career in the
field.
